5/24/09 Eliza (In response to Hailey's statement 'I'm the only one in our family who doesn't have brown hair') "No, daddy's hair isn't brown...it's gray!"
4/11/09 Hailey (5:30 AM, tummy hurts, sitting on the toilet naked counting sheets of toilet paper) "Dad, one plus five is four and a half, which equals six. Yeah, I know, I'm pretty good at math."
3/1/09 Hailey (After putting on her white tights underneath her black Sunday dress) "Hey look! Now I'm all black and white! I'm like a chapter book!"
2/7/09 Hailey (While in the car with Eliza's friend Jordan) "Mom, I really need to go poop....sorry you had to hear that, Jordan."
1/23/09 (letter to the Tooth Fairy) Dear Tooth Fairy, I do know that my tooth is split in half. But it is two halfs and I do get very good grades in school so can I have two dollars please? Sincerely, Eliza
